HOW IT ALL WORKS
Once you have decided on the lesson you want to get and have made your appointment, your instructor will pick you up at the address you have provided.
Your instructore will get in touch with you upon arrival. Please have your permit with you and present it to the instuctor on your first lesson.
If you are under age and do not have your permit, first lesson can not be given and will be counted as a no show and will have to cancel the appointment.
If your purchased more then one lesson, you may schedule your next appointment directly with the instructor. Your next appointment can be scheduled by emailing us at Karinsdrivingschool@gmail.com.
Once you have completed your 3rd lesson you will be given your 6 hour certificate (only applies to minors 15 1/2 - 17).
Once you had your permit for 6 month you will be able to schedule an appointment at the DMV for the behind the wheel road test (applies only to minors).
Adults can schedule the drive test at any time once given their permit.
You will need to have your test appointment alreay schedule. Once you have set the day of your DMV test and set you pick up appointment, your instructor will pick you up an hour before your test appointment begins.
Your instructor will give you hand to hand knowledge on the way to the DMV to help you become familiar with the traffic conditions, speed limits and skills needed to safely pass the test accordingly.
A few minutes before your test begins, your instructor will escort you to the check-in window inside the DMV and will wait with you inside the vehicle until your test begins.
Your instructor will wait for you at the DMV while you take the test. In some cases the DMV gets behind schedule, which causes the total time to go over 3 hours in which we may need to add an “overtime” fee of $40/hour, billed in 15 minute increments.
